I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and had an amazing view over the Koggala Lake, which was just the beginning of a remarkable stay. The room lacked amenities like tea or coffee, a mini bar, or a toothbrush, but being built into the environment overlooking the beautiful Koggala lake made it very comfortable with a magnificent view; although having lounge chairs on the balcony would have been a nice addition.
